Kate Upton ( born June 10, 1992 ) is an American model known for her appearance in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, for which she was named Rookie of the Year.
Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She has three siblings. Her uncle is Fred Upton, the US Representative for Michigan's 6th congressional district. An avid horseback rider, she showed for the American Paint Horse Association and competed on a national level. With her horse Roanie Pony, she won three APHA Reserve World Championships, in 13 and Under Western Riding, 13 and Under Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Riding and named the 13 and Under Reserve All-Around Champion at the APHA World Championship Show, giving her a total of five championships. In addition, Upton ended up third overall on the APHA youth Top Twenty. With a second horse, Zipped, she won 14–18 Western Riding and was top 5 in 14–18 Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Pleasure in 2009.
In 2008, Upton attended a casting call in Miami for Elite Model Management and was signed by them the same day. She eventually moved to New York City, where she signed with IMG Models.
Upton first modeled for Garage, then Dooney & Bourke. She is the 2010–11 face of Guess. In 2011, Upton appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was featured in the body paint section and named Rookie of the Year for the issue. She has since modeled for Beach Bunny swimwear and Victoria's Secret.
In April 2011, an internet video of her doing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game went viral and has served to increase her popularity.
Upton made an appearance in a June 2011 episode of Tosh.0, participating in a segment called "Knife or Banana", emulating a Japanese game show in which she is stabbed with a banana.
In June 2011, Upton was named Esquire Magazine's "The Woman of the Summer".
In July 2011, Upton played in 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980 and raised in La Mirada, Calif. Jennie Finch attended La Mirada High School. Jennie Finch played for her high school softball team at several positions including pitcher, first base and shortstop. Jennie Finch was honored with many awards and as a result, was named the number one high school recruit by Jump Magazine in 1998.

While attending University of Arizona, Jennie Finch earned various additional awards. While playing for the Wildcats, Jennie Finch had a record of 109-16, hit 50 home runs, and had a .301 batting average. Jennie Finch set the NCAA record with 60 consecutive pitching wins over three seasons.

Jennie Finch was selected for the U.S. Olympic Softball Team in January 2004 and currently resides in La Mirada, California.

Biography
Pitcher Lisa Fernandez can throw a softball 75 miles per hour. She can dip, rise, and spin the ball, making her pitches almost unhittable. During the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, Fernandez was nearly perfect. She won the game that sent the United States into the first-ever women's softball gold-medal game against China, then came on to save the championship game for the Americans against the same team. A four-time All-American at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA), Fernandez may be the best all-around female softball player in the world.

At the age of 39, Dot made the team again in 2000 and for the first time her in career, she was asked to change positions- from short stop to second base. Physically and psychologically, the change was a challenge, but one that Dot took in stride. “I have dominated this sport as a shortstop for 20 years, but I would like to say that, hopefully, I’ve been a dominating force in this sport not just as a shortstop – but also as a team player,” she said, shortly before the competition began. When the 2000 Games closed, Dot Richardson went home with her second Olympic gold medal.
